こんにちは、レイモンドです。カルガリー大学で教員免許を取り、日本ではもう20年以上英語を教えています。今は民間の英会話スクールで働いていて、3歳の子どもから80代の方まで、いろいろな年齢の生徒さんと一緒に英語を楽しんできました。日本の高校・大学受験に使われるテストや、英検・IELTS・TOEICの指導経験もあります。試験対策はちょっと退屈に思われがちですが、生徒さんの興味に合わせて、できるだけ楽しく学べるように工夫しています。それから、物語を書くのが好きで、日本の文化や民話にも興味があります。生徒さんと一緒にいろいろ学べるのも、僕の楽しみのひとつです。ビジネス文書や小説の校正をした経験もあり、昨年は短編小説が一つ出版されました。来年は自分の小説を自費出版したいと思っています。みなさんにお会いできるのを楽しみにしています。
