こんにちは、ラボンです。ほとんどの人はライリーと呼んでいます。日本に住んで教えるようになってから10年以上が経ちますが、今でも新しい発見や驚きがあります。現在は茨城県つくば市を拠点に、東京から約1時間のところで2つの大学で教えています。これまでの経歴はかなり多様です。看護師や医師にメディカル英語を教えたり、高校のディベートチームを地区大会優勝に導いたり、難関大学を目指す学生向けのライティングプログラムを開発したり、4年間にわたって小学校を訪問して6歳の子どもたちにフォニックスを教えたりしてきました。そのすべてに共通しているのは、英語が実際に機能するかどうかにこだわっているということです。レッスンの中だけでなく、本当に大切な場面で使えるかどうか、ということです。私の指導スタイルは直接的で集中したものです。何がうまくいっていて何がそうでないかを正直に伝え、上達の妨げになっているパターンを
