Hello, I'm Aya. As an English teacher, I've been teaching English at international schools, kids English conversation schools, daycare centres, and English conversation schools that offer private lessons for adults for 11 years. My lessons are fun and easy to understand and most importantly, I modify the lessons based on each student's needs. It's not just fun, you can also learn the four skills in English and I hope you can learn useful English phrases in every lesson. I studied abroad in Australia and using this experience, you'll learn to express your thoughts in English.
I teach「Kids English」,「Basic English for Adults」, and「Medical Japanese Lessons for Foreigners」. I also offer child-rearing lessons for mothers who are having a difficult time raising their children on a daily basis.
For children, primary schools will implement English as a subject in 2020. By then, if children can learn English and aim to improve their English abilities, they'll be off to a good start.
For adults, the lessons are designed especially for those who have no idea where to start or those who have experienced difficulties in understanding foreign teachers. My lessons are recommended for students who want to enjoy learning English for lifelong learning purposes. Let's aim to improve your English this year.
In the lessons, we'll mainly talk in English. For students to understand thoroughly, I'll also provide support in Japanese.
Target: Children from the age of three to junior high school students, and adults who want to learn from the basics.
On the other hand, I worked as a midwife for 20 years and I worked at hospitals and maternity hospitals. I was also a clinical training instructor at a university, an instructor for parenting classes and a counsellor at a health centre, and I visited families with newborn babies to offer baby care advice. There were many foreigners living in the area that I used to live in so English was essential as a way to communicate with them. I had many opportunities to teach them Japanese, which also included medical terms.
I'd like to learn Japanese and different cultures using English with foreigners.
I've received consultations from many mothers before. You're exhausted because your children won't stop crying or they won't sleep or if you're dealing with grumpy children, children with developmental disabilities or learning disabilities. If there's no one you can talk to regarding the stress of child-rearing, I can help you share the burden and hopefully that'll make you feel better because I'm also a mother of one child.
I'm very cheerful, I have a positive personality and I'm always surrounded by laughters.
