Nice to meet you. My name is Masako and I'm a piano teacher. ♪


After I graduated from Musashino Academia Musicae, I taught children and adults at a musical instrument shop.
Now I live in Hamamatsu City in Shizuoka Prefecture. I plan to teach piano online and at home from now and on.


Beginners who are learning piano for the first time or adults who want to learn to play the songs you like, I put a lot of effort into the lessons and hopefully it'll make you think that music is fun and you'll also enjoy playing the piano.

♪　About weakness・tone
To enjoy music, the tone is very important.

The piano is also like a percussion instrument,
and as the hammers are connected to the strings, when you hit the hammer, you can understand the mechanism of a piano and the sound it makes.

While listening to your own sound, you need to pay attention to whether the sound is the same as you've envisioned and whether it sounds beautiful. If you can practice like this, the quality of your practice will improve.

In the lesson, we'll practice how to use your body to make pleasant sounds.

First, you can take the trial lesson and please tell me what you want to do if you can play the piano or your ultimate goals.

You can take the trial lesson once or you can try the 3-time trial lesson.

【Experience】
I started learning the piano when I was 5.
I graduated from the Faculty of Music at Musashino Academia Musicae with piano as my major.
Now I'm a piano teacher at a musical instrument shop.

I offer 3 kinds of courses.

①　Piano Lesson
ー Kids Lessons ー
I'll focus on what kind of lessons are good for each student and what kind of music does the student like.
These are some things I need to consider.
Based on the child's learning conditions, I'll also include the teaching of solfege in the lesson to deepen the student's knowledge of music.


ー Adults Lessons ー
Beginners, people who haven't played the piano for a while, or there's a particular song you want to play so you want to take the lessons!
You want to learn from the basics!
We'll have the lessons based on your requests. ♪


②　You want someone to practice with you
It's difficult to move forward in practice by yourself! You want someone to read the music sheets with you!
We'll do that in this lesson.
Let's enjoy practicing together.

③　Solfege
In this lesson, we'll focus on rhythm, melodic dictation, and sight-reading.
Learning solfege is learning the vocabulary and grammar of music.
Let's deepen your understanding of music ♪

「Lesson」course
・I'll suggest materials that suit the students, whether the song is the right level for the student, and if you're having trouble with sight-reading, I'll also suggest other materials that may be better for you.

・I'll teach you the ways of expressions and the piano touch
I'll help you with your weaknesses, the ways to produce beautiful sounds, and the ways to understand the phrases better.

・Solfege（Rhythm, pitch interval）
In each lesson, we'll practice the rhythm and the pitch interval first.
I'll train you in a way so you'll be able to get the flow of music in your head just by reading the music score.

♪　Practicing Piano Together　♪ is a course where I'll help you with sight-reading, so the price is rather reasonable than the lessons.

In this lesson, we don't just practice playing from the beginning till the end. Instead, I want you to develop a habit to practice with efficiency and I want you to enjoy playing the piano. ♪

For those who are already going to a music school but if you want someone to help you with your practice, it's totally fine too!

If you want to take a break from your lessons and you only want to practice the pieces you like, this is the course for you ♪

♪　Practicing Piano Together　♪　course does not contain contents such as the basics of music, the expressiveness in music, and the tone so it is recommended that you take it together with the lesson.
