Hello! My name is Shizuko Kinoshita. A repetiteur is an opera pianist and vocal coach who helps the singer in reading music and making music. I mainly accompany in theaters and teach at opera training schools. I've done over 50 opera repertoires. I will be happy to accompany and support everyone, from those who want to start studying songs, to professional vocalists!

Since the lesson includes musical accompaniment, the time lag is a problem online. In addition to Skype, it is recommended to use Yamaha's online remote ensemble service (free) which has less of a time lag.

Profile

I graduated from Ochanomizu University, Faculty of Education, Department of Music, as a Piano major. I completed graduate school at the same university. I studied in Germany and studied at the Saxon State Opera in Dresden. While supporting numerous opera performances as a repetiteur, I also worked as a recital accompaniment as a vocal co-starring pianist. To date, I have been a music staff member at numerous opera performances centered around the New National Theater and Nikikai, and have received high praise from domestic and overseas conductors and singers.I've done over 50 opera repertoires. I am particularly regarded in relation to the performance of German operas, and I'm one of the leading pianists in Japan involved in many works by Wagner and R. Strauss. I've also served as an official accompaniment pianist at the Shizuoka International Opera Competition, PMF International Educational Music Festival, and so on, and have taught younger students at the Opera Training Institute. Currently, I am a pianist at the New National Theatre, an instructor at the Opera Training Center, and a lecturer at the Nikikai Opera Training Center.
