Hello everyone. My name is Iwamoto and I'm a piano instructor. I teach piano lessons from France, a place with Chopin's tone.

I started living in France at the age of 21 and it has been 29 years since. During this period, I went to school, started working, got married, raised my child, and managed my company so in other words, I've lived almost all my life in France. The difference between Japan and France is that French people are more relaxed whereas Japanese people work way harder. Recently with the development of technology, the distance of communicating with people overseas has gradually shorterned. This is a fantastic improvement and I hope I'll get an oppotunity to meet those who I don't usually meet and you can learn piano in Japan from me, someone who has spent most of their music life in France.

I graduated from France National Rouen Music College as the top student in the piano and chamber music class in 1992. I started working at the same college as a piano-accompagnateur (piano accompanist) and at the same time, I worked at the National Normandy Opera House as an pianite-répétiteur (piano accompanist). In 1998, I was hired by the National Marseille Ballet Company and I worked at their ballet school as a pianiste-accompagnateur (piano accompanist). In 2001, I started my own piano school. In addition, I've worked with the Consulate General of Japan in Marseille to promote Japanese culture and we've held numerous concerts in Southern France.

For my lessons, I'm recruiting students from beginners to experienced learners, regardless of the age. I teach piano lessons for students who cannot read music sheets or those who are troubled by them. You can play the piano even without the music sheets. Why? Because music is mathematics. In other words, I also teach students astronomy. Once you undertand music as mathematics, you'll be able to enjoy playing the piano without the music sheets and writing your own songs also becomes possible. Let's enjoy learning piano together. Please check out my YouTube channel, HIROSHI IWAMOTO, you can see my students playing in the videos.
