About me:
My name is Tiffany. I'm an American living in Japan. If you're looking for an opportunity to practice and improve your English with a native speaker, I'd love to help you.
I graduated from the University of Massachusetts in 2012 with a Bachelor's Degree in Philosophy. In September 2020, I received my 100-hour TEFL certificate as well. I have also passed the level 3 Japanese Language Proficiency Test.
Before coming to Japan in 2015, I worked for 3 years as an ambassador's assistant at the United Nations in New York City. After experiencing the international atmosphere in NYC, I was inspired to move abroad.
I have been living in Japan for almost 6 years. My favorite part of living in Japan (besides the food and people which are both wonderful, of course) is the onsen (hot springs)!
My lesson style:
My lessons are casual and fun, but also practical. I use a variety of methods to help you get used to reading, listening, writing and speaking English. You can focus your lessons on just 1 or 2 of these depending on your needs or we can work on all 4 of them little by little. We will work together to decide what lesson style is best for you. Let's build your ideal study routine together!
