About Me
  • My name is Victoria, and I live in Virginia in the U.S. 
  • I spent 5 years teaching English in Japan at Rikkyo Ikebukuro Junior and Senior High School (立教池袋中学校高等学校) 
  • I studied Studio Art (Painting) and East Asian Studies (Japanese history/culture) at Yale University.
  • I love art, music, singing, anime, film, and history.


My Skills
  • I have certification in TESOL. 
  • I can speak and read Japanese at an intermediate level. (JLPT N2)
  • I have experience conducting admissions interviews for Japanese students applying to Yale University.
  • I have experience helping students with writing skills, especially essays.
  • I have worked with kids and adults of all ages. 
My Classes
  • My focus is communication skills for daily life, travel, etc
  • I can tutor students who are interested in attending school in the United States, especially Ivy League schools. (Yale, Harvard, etc).
  •  I can help with admissions essays and give mock interviews/application advice.
