Hello Everyone!

My name is Nameera, and I come from Pakistan. I’m a native English speaker and a certified French teacher. 

TEACHING STYLE

My teaching approach and styles are interactive and communicative, and we use playful methods in class. Since I started teaching online, I’ve been incorporating a variety multimedia and collaborative apps, and online resources like games, role-play scenarios, songs, videos, photos and stories.
I believe in making learning a fun and enjoyable experience. I am highly adaptable to my students' needs, and have many fun and interesting materials to work with.

EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND

All my education from kindergarten to Masters level in university has been in the English Language. My school exams upto 'O' Levels and highschool exams, 'A' Levels, were overseas exams from the Cambridge University, England.

I have a university qualification, DU FLE- diplôme d'université français langue-étrangère (French as a foreign language) for teachers of French from the Université du Mans, France. I also have a Master's degree from Istanbul, Turkey.


TEACHING BACKGROUND

I have been teaching at the Alliance Française since 2015. I like to keep updating my knowledge, and completed an online course for French language teachers in May 2021. I also completed another online course from CAVILAM-Alliance Française, Vichy, France for French teachers in June 2021.

A BIT ABOUT ME:

I am a polyglot speaking: French, English, Turkish, Urdu, and Hindi. And now I'm learning a bit of Japanese as well. I love to travel and have travelled, studied, and worked in several countries abroad.


With my passion for foreign languages, I started my journey with these beautiful languages at a young age and now I love to share my knowledge with my students! My other interests include scuba diving, cycling, drawing, painting, meditation and yoga.

My core belief in life is to do what you love, and to love what you do!
