My name is Jun!

I currently work as a Taiwanese Mandarin teacher as a concurrent post.
I have been studying Japanese for over 10 years.

Passed N1 of JLPT (Japanese Language Proficiency Test)
During 2016 to 2017, I went on a working holiday in Tokyo.

Experience in teaching Taiwanese Mandarin in Taiwan:
・6 months of experience as a dispatched tutor for Japanese students.
・Conversation teacher for Japanese university students at Tamkang University Mandarin Language Center.
・Teaching assistant for online Taiwanese Mandarin classes in Taiwan (140 hrs).
・I currently teach group classes for Japanese students.
・I am currently in charge of teaching group classes for Japanese students in Taiwan.
・I was also in charge of one-on-one lessons for the Taiwan Talk group (middle/upper middle).

I am good at conversation/written correction/beginner, intermediate to upper intermediate level lessons!
I mainly use the Modern Chinese (時代華語) textbook series, but we can use other materials as well.

I love studying languages, and I am currently studying German, so I understand the difficulties and worries of learning a new language. Yet, there are also times when it’s exciting and a lot of fun! q(≧▽≦q)

I believe that learning a language is not only about the words, but also about the culture of the country or ethnic group, which can be a barrier to learning if you don’t understand or learn it. Therefore, I would like to introduce you to not only the Taiwanese Mandarin language, but also to the culture and customs of Taiwan. The grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation from the textbooks are the very basics, but the actual terms used by Taiwanese people are slightly different, so I will also emphasize words that are not in the textbooks.

Although I mainly know expressions and pronunciations used in Taiwan, I can also handle simplified Chinese characters and Pinyin. I can also supplement with Chinese expressions that I know.

So, let’s open the door to a new world together!
