Hello Students
 
My name is David and I'm going to be your drawing tutor.

I would like to welcome you to join my perspective drawing classes.

Enjoy the learning process of drawing objects as you see them in the real world.


Perspective is an essential tool in drawing and painting if you wish to create beautiful art that is pleasing to the eye.

Using perspective, you will be able to create an illusion of depth and space. A 3D representation of an object projected on a 2D piece of paper.


I am excited to bring to you what I have learned over many years and help you to explore your inner creativity. Together, we shall unlock the master artist in you and release your full potential.

I am originally from the Philippines, I was born and grew up in Manila. My great grandparents were from Fujian, China. And in the not so distant past, my family and I moved to Toronto, Canada.

With such a diversed background, I was quick to acquire the skills to speak in multiple languages.
 
I am fluent in English, Tagalog and Hokkien. I have intermediate conversational skills in Chinese Mandarin and I speak and understand a little bit of Spanish.

I graduated from the University of Santo Tomas with a Bachelor's degree in Architecture. The foundational knowledge I acquired from school has helped me in my profession as a product designer and developer.

As an artist, I loved to create architectural renders of buildings, urban settings, landscape sceneries and popular landmarks. Occasionally, I also draw inanimate objects, still art
and comic characters.

Professionally, I have been in design and development for over 30 years and have created products ranging from school and novelty supplies to baby products to car accessories.

Whenever I get the opportunity, I love to travel and explore different places and marvel at the world's magnificent art and architecture and natural sceneries.
