Hello! I'm Ellis. Good to meet you. I am a fully certified TESOL teacher. I lived in London for some years but then moved back to Ghana because myself and my wife wanted to continue our community volunteer work. I have spent over 18 years as a community volunteer teacher (both in the UK and Ghana). I have had students from many different backgrounds, ages and cultures and it has been so rewarding and interesting. I also have a Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Economics, and currently work part-time as a Freelance Graphics, Web, and UI/UX Designer.
I am a native bilingual speaker of English and Twi. I am also learning to speak Ga (B2) and Mandarin Chinese (A1). Learning these languages has helped me to understand both the joys and struggles of acquiring a new language and I want to use my TESOL knowledge to help English language learners on their journey too!
My interests are: graphics design, website development, computer hardware, microbiology, psychology, world affairs and community work.
