Hello I am a professional musician and English teacher from California based in Chiba, Japan!  My goal as a teacher is to help you reach your goals whether its exams and auditions, business reasons, or just for fun! 

 

I regularly perform at hotels, weddings, musicals, community centers, and live houses around the Kanto area, and I have performed in other regions of Japan as well as Europe, South Korea, and the United States.  I also record woodwinds for TV, video games, and albums of various artists.

 

I can provide instrumental lessons for saxophone, clarinet, and oboe, as well as general music topics such as improvisation, how to read music faster, and jazz theory (Berklee Method).  

 

My English lessons are tailored to my students needs.  We can talk about your goals for speaking, writing, listening, and reading the language.  I also have experience teaching junior high school here in Japan, so I am familiar with high school examinations and Eiken as well.  For speaking lessons we can talk about whatever you want and learn new words as we go!
