Hello! I'm Brenda! I am from Victoria, Canada, however, I am currently living in sunny Portugal.
I have just started a new career as an ESL teacher, however, have been a teacher for many years. As well as the English language, I have a passion for fitness. I have taught 1000s of fitness classes and personal training sessions as well as taught many new fitness instructors the theory behind physical fitness. These fitness theory classes all took place in the classroom, some even virtually, just like English.
As a native English speaker with a passion for the language and teaching, I am sure I can help you attain your goals. I am happy to work with children and adults alike. I believe that with a little guidance I can help you gain confidence in your English sooner than you know. English is used almost everywhere, even if not 100% of the time. Perhaps you are working in an international company, perhaps you are preparing to apply to a university in an English-speaking country or maybe your sport takes you around the world! Whatever your situation, if you strive to be able to communicate in English, let's do this together.
My lessons are either 25 or 50 minutes. We can chat about a topic of your choice, we could assess your level, and we could work on your listening skills as well as reading and writing - the choice is yours.
