Nice to meet you. I hold a Master’s degree in Economics and am a Certified Public Accountant (US CPA). I am also a certified Korean language tutor and have passed the JLPT N1, so I can provide clear and thorough lessons in Japanese. For over 20 years, I have worked at major financial institutions such as Lehman Brothers, Macquarie, and Nomura, where I collaborated with many international clients and colleagues. Drawing on this experience, I will teach you natural Korean that is used in real-life and business settings.

Hello! I'm Jeeji from Seoul, South Korea. I love learning languages and discovering different cultures. My interest in Japanese music inspired me to start learning Japanese, and through that experience I discovered how enjoyable learning a new language can be. Since I have also been a language learner, I understand how nervous and challenging it can feel to speak a new language. That's why I want my lessons to be a place where you can speak comfortably without worrying about making mistakes. I hold the JLPT N2 certification and have about six months of experience teaching Japanese. I also studied at a language school in Taiwan for six months, so I can communicate in basic Chinese. In addition, I can communicate in English for everyday conversations.

In my lessons, you’ll have the chance to learn natural expressions commonly used by Korean speakers in everyday life, as well as Korean culture and customs, which are topics that might be hard to pick up just from textbooks. I also place a strong emphasis on “speaking as much as possible.” By encouraging you to use Korean without fear of making mistakes, I’ll help you gradually build the confidence to speak in Korean. Beginners, those learning Korean for the first time, those who lack confidence in conversation, and anyone interested in traveling in South Korea or Korean culture are all more than welcome. I provide lessons tailored to each individual’s level and goals, ensuring you can continue learning comfortably while enjoying the journey.
