Candy Chang's TED talk, Before I Die I Want To..., is a personal story about why she suddenly thought about death and the lesson she learned. Chang is a social worker from New Orleans. In her TED talk, she explains her job and also her hometown. We learn about social work, civic duty, and about American culture.
In her TED talk, Chang also shares a very personal experience she had. It was a very touching story that made me think a lot about the value of life and how we need to live better lives.
I often use this TED talk in my classes because it has a lot of useful words, phrases, idioms, and life lessons. At the end of every lesson, I write on my whiteboard and make my students come up to the board to finish Before I Die I Want To...with their personal goals.
