I will keep practicing!

Greg R

I thought I would share with you a little about my new hobby, painting!  As you can see, I am not a very good painter but I am going to keep practicing for two reasons: even though I am not a very good painter, I am enjoying painting because it relaxes me and two, I can see that I am improving.  I still have a long way to go before I show my paintings to my friends but that is okay because I know I am making progress.  Learning to paint is a lot like learning to speak English.  It can be difficult at times, but I know it can also be rewarding if you do not give up.  The key is to ENJOY THE PROCESS!  And NEVER GIVE UP!  As I paint more pictures, I will post them here, hopefully you will be able to see some improvement just as I see improvement in your English speaking abilities.  Keep practicing!

Hi, I really agree with you! I guess many people got big mess for flying to next stage after getting beginner stage. English has long history ,almost 10 centuries, as same as Japanese.

By the way, I can see your pieces. The one of three chairs was that I felt very peaceful and warmth of my family when my daughter was a little. next one of branches and bard is seems like 'sumie', it's traditional Japanease picture. So pople can imagine their own bird and branches. I should say thank you for swowing your pieces!
