Crazy And Funny Facts You Should Know

Jul 31, 2020

Dear Readers.

It is great to be back with another installment of Crazy And Funny Facts You  Should Know.

I hope you all had a memorable week.

I understand that Japan has been experiencing an unusually long rainy season. Rain reminds me of my early childhood.

I am sure you are eagerly waiting for today’s fun fact.

Well, we are going to visit our friends and fellow primates. Gorillas.

Did you know that;

Gorillas sleep as much as fourteen hours per day.

Gorillas usually start making their nests about an hour before the sun sets, in time to be in bed by dark! They typically stay in their nest the entire night, just like people. However, gorillas sleep longer than humans, averaging about 12 hours of rest each night!

It is a pleasant surprise. Can you imagine sleeping for twelve hours?

I hope you enjoyed this little fun fact. I come from Africa, so, I have seen gorillas, but, unfortunately, I have never seen them sleeping.

This is an image of gorillas in a national park in the Congo, Africa. The men in the picture are park rangers.

Thank you for reading all the Crazy and Funny Facts. I will be back with more soon.

Enjoy the rest of the week. Have a happy weekend.
