Crazy And Funny Facts You Should Know

Lyston G.

Dear, Readers.

It is great to be back with another installment of Crazy And Funny Facts You Should Know.

I hope you are having a thrilling weekend.

The weather is absolutely gorgeous in southern Thailand at this time of the year.

The emergency declared across parts of the country is gradually being lifted.

The virus infection rates have been on the decrease over the past few weeks.

More holiday areas are open, and most facilities have also reopened to the public.

Today, I would like to introduce a fun fact about movies. To be more specific, I will be focusing on movie trailers.

Did you know that;

Movie trailers have been around since at least 1912, but they didn’t always run before the movies they’re attached to.

They were initially shown after, or "trailing", the feature film, and this led to their being called "trailers".

The practice was found to be somewhat ineffective, often ignored by audiences who left immediately after the feature.

In the 1930s when it was decided too many audience members were leaving right after the film (see below for possible reason), so the movie theaters started to show trailers before the feature film.

Do you agree with the audiences from the early part of the 20th century? Let me know what you think in the comments section below.

I am fascinated by this fun fact. It seems counterintuitive to put the trailer at the end.

I hope you will have fun reading this little fun fact. I will be back with more soon.

Have a memorable weekend. See you soon.
