Hello, everyone. How are  you today? It's Teacher Asuka.

Today , we're talking about
'What's important for high quality customer service?
 '

Well, what’s your criteria when you buy something, or you are provided something?

I mean, what’s your important points to decide which one you choose to buy?

I think there are some aspects like ‘price’, ‘quality’, ’company’s name or brands’, and ‘customer survice’.

While you might already know what the other aspects above except ‘customer service’, from now on,  I’m going to look at the word ‘Customer Service’.

It means the care and support that a company provides the customers before, while, and after the customers buy a product or service.

Speaking of ‘Customer Service’, I always remember Konosuke Matsushita,a Japanese industrialist, who founded Panasonic Corporation, formerly Matsushita Electric Industrial Co.Ltd.

In Japan, many people knows his famous sayings like ‘Customer is like a King’. That means ’Customer is always right’. That’s why most Japanese companies have tried not only to produce their own products but also to support and take much care of their customers very much, having hospitality with a smile.

They know how important such a ‘Customer Service’ is. They say it influences their profits very much nowadays. From the above, we can come to know how they had built such hospitality mind within the Japanese culture.

The English word, ‘Hospitality’ means ‘Omotenashi’ in Japanese. ‘Omotenashi’ includes smiling, supporting, and  taking care of their customers.

In my opinion, the importance of high quality Customer Service should need not only such ‘Hospitality’ but also ‘Open-heartedness’,and ‘Courtesy’. The reason is that I think how to behave for customers is the most important point everywhere in the world of bussiness. It goes without saying that having such high quality customer service keeps customer satisfaction much more and being supported and purchased for many years.

Thank you for reading or  listening this time as well.
See you next time!
