Hello, everyone. How's it going? It's Teacher Asuka.

Today, I'm talking about an irresistible fashion leader,
Coco Chanel!

The life of Coco Gabrielle Chanel is always giving us inspiring a lot! She is one of my best-loved, admirable, and authentic fashion leaders.

Let’s take a look at some memorable quotes of Chanel, who is a French fashion Designer and a founder of the Chanel brand here.

I’ll let you know my three favorite Chanel’s quotes are as follows:

Firstly,

“Nature gives you a face you have at 20. It’s up to you to merit the face you have at 50.”

Secondly,

"In order to be irreplaceable one must always be different."

And thirdly,

"Simplicity is the keynote of all true elegance."

From such quotes showed above, we are able to know Chanel lived her life according to her own rules.

Her early years were miserable because her mother was passed away at the age of 12 and she was put in an orphanage by her father, who worked as a peddler.

However, at the orphanage, she could learn how to sew some clothes. This experience led to her success relating ‘Fashion’.

“My life didn’t please me, so I created my life”, she used to have said such a thing.

It seems her many severe experiences influenced her own way of thinking.

In spite of spending miserable child life, she decided to create her life to live, and made it worthy in the end. Her life tells us a lot of great things. Nobody knows “ what will happen next”, so I think that we should enjoy “what will happen next” and make it beautiful.

Enjoy your life to the fullest just like Gabrielle did.

Thank you for joining me as well.

See you next week.
