My One Wish

Weekly Topic: If you could magically make just one wish come true, what would it be?

Jul 13, 2021

Do you remember the good old days? Back then, life was easier but more complicated compared to the current days. If you could turn back time, would you?

Can I talk to you for a minute? Before I started teaching English, I first started learning English way back in preschool because I wanted to travel the world and talk to people from different countries.

You know, I've been thinking to myself and what I realized is that the reason I wanted to travel the world is so that I can spread happiness into people's hearts by talking. There's just something about talking that makes people feel happy. Everytime I give other people attention, so I can talk to them, they seem to be happier because according to them it feels like someone truly cares about them.

Oh, how I wish there was more joy in people's hearts. Can you imagine what the world would be like if everyone would be truly happy? A world filled with smiles. People spreading joy to each and everyone.

I would like to live in that world. I think a world with happy people would be a cool place to live. But that's fine, because that's exactly what I'm doing right now. I'm teaching online right now so I can talk to people from different parts of the world. I believe that one of the reasons that I teach well is because I genuinely listen to my students when they speak.

I care about my students and I care about this world. Deep down inside, I truly hope that my wish one day will come true.
