"If you could magically make just one wish come true, what would it be?"
All people cherish a wish inside within themselves. Any kind of wish. It could be a wish of love or friendship. A material wish or a spiritual wish. It can be of any nature. As long as you have a wish, then it is okay. The world would be numb and dull without a dream. Without something, which keeps you alive, life wouldn’t make sense. Dreams keep us alive. Dreams make the existence more enjoyable... But sometimes, wishes, dreams and desires are hard to realize.
At times, I like to keep my hopes down, because I don’t want to fall from such height. Life is still hard, and we can only count on ourselves most of the times. No genie will come out of a lamp and grant us wishes for free. In the real world, we have to fight to get what we want. We have to climb mountains of problems, face them and never give up, no matter how hard or impossible it seems. I like to think there is always a chance and a change. We have to be our change. We are the only ones able to make our wishes come true. To make the difference.
I think it is important to have wishes, even after you have realized your own wish, let’s search for another one! Because it’s human nature. It’s what makes us alive. A man without dreams is like a night sky without stars or a lake without fish. It is just void. Dullness. Don’t stop dreaming!
I usually prefer to be realistic and dream of things that can happen in reality. It is less painful to dream of achievable, realistic and concrete things than to dream of things that would never come true. Although I've always been a dreamer and always had my head in the clouds.
If I could make just one wish to come true, I would ask for something impossible. Something totally weird, absurd and unrealistic. Something that reality would never be able to give me.
I may ask to be a genie and then realize everyone’s wishes, risking to become a slave or end up in the wrong hands.
I could even try not to be that selfish and give that wish to somebody else. I would give it to my best friend. Someone I love and I know they would deserve it and use it in the best way. It is a hard choice. However, making the people we love happy is a good wish, isn’t it?
