Hello everyone. How’s it going these days? It’s Teacher Asuka.

Today, I’m going to talk about keeping a journal or diary.

Have you ever tried to keep a diary? Have you kept a journal already?

If you would like to master a new language especially, it might be a good idea to keep a diary in the new language.

As for me, when I studied abroad in Britain, I used to keep a diary in English. Although I couldn’t write it so many pages in English at first, I continued keeping a journal every day, and then I got used to expressing my English gradually.

There is an episode about the great effects of keeping a diary, that is one of the famous quotes of Oprah Winfrey, who is a TV personality as well as an actress in the US.

I’ll let you know her inspirational quotes here as follows : “Keep a grateful journal. Every night, list five things that you are grateful for. What it will begin to do is changing your perspective of your day and your life.

By the way, do you know the book named “Pollyanna’s Story”?  Have you read this book?

The Oprah’s quote above always reminds me of this book.

I think people will enjoy reading it if they are interested in thinking positive or such a field. As I read this book many years ago, I can’t remember the details. However, let me share some contents here now.

The girl named Pollyanna was an orphan. One day, she came to know how to manage her mindset in a positive way through finding something good many times in a day. According to the heart of the story, if you try to find something good in every situation in life, you will stay safe and healthy. I was deeply impressed after reading it.

The story tells us about the important tips how to live life like “Every time, try to find good things in your life.”

Thank you for staying with me as usual.

See you next time!
