Journey into the Artworld! - October - Surrealism and Halloween Art Lessons!

Oct 8, 2021

Hello everyone!

Fall begins, and with it comes the Halloween! The changing of summer to fall has often been thought of as the time when the spirits come out! This is seen in many different art pieces all around the world. Let's create our own spirits and creatures using the art style of:

Surrealism

This is the art style of using something that is real and changing it in an unnatural way! It could be a face, a cloud, a clock, anything!
Using Surrealism, I can teach you how to draw a surreal Ghost or Spirit (ようかい) of old Japanese folklore or of Western design. Here's my own creature creation:

But Halloween doesn't have to be surreal or scary! I can also teach you and your family how to draw cute designs like a Jack-o-Lantern!

Here is my lesson link for Halloween:

As always, if you have any questions or requests for my art lessons, please let me know!

Thank you for reading this topic for the Journey into the Artworld in October.
Take care and see you soon!
