Photo: Trouble being Trouble
If you’ve ever taken a lesson with me, you may have seen a picture of a cat and a dog in the background. Those are Zach Cat (AKA Fat Cat) and Beardie, which were my pets when I was growing up. They have long since passed away, though, and I no longer have a pet of my own.
My parents, however, have always kept cats around in their home and on their farm. They currently have six cats, but the one that really stands out and the one I like to share pictures of is Trouble, a black cat with a sneezing problem that really deserves his name.
Trouble is a little unusual because he doesn’t really care about the other cats around him. He always wants to be with the humans, and he even has his own chair at the table on the deck, where he likes to sit like a human. You have to be careful when he’s around, though, because he can sneeze without warning and spray you (which is not very nice!).
Trouble always gets into trouble. If you’re not paying attention to him, he’s probably up to no good! He loves to knock things over, rip things, eat things, and generally make a big mess. He’s never shy, though, and because he’s friendly and always hangs around with people more than any of the other cats, we forgive him for all the trouble he causes… usually.
