Anyday, I would choose to take a walk over hitting the gym. I like to go on long walks with my loved ones along parks, beaches or any place for that matter (as long as I walk slowly). While going to nearby places, I prefer to walk rather than using a motorcyle. The company of our dear ones does make it easy and enjoyable, apart from the health benefits. While walking slowly in the neighbourhood, there are things that seem new to me although I've been living in the area for years. Maybe I was just looking but I didn't really see it.
Going for a walk slows down time, makes us enjoy the nature, the weather, gives us a chance to see people from all walks of life and appreciate life. Taking one step at a time is definitely the best thing about a journey.
