A game yuo used to plaing when you were kids

Weekly Topic: A game you used to like playing when you were a kid.

I learned to play chess in early childhood. I was 3 years old when my dad taught me all the rules of this game. In the first grade, I went to the chess club, where I did my favorite thing, which became a very important part of my life.

Why is chess my favorite game?
To answer this question, it is worth recalling the saying of the 12th world chess champion - A. Karpov. He talked about the fact that it is a strange game that includes art, science and sport at the same time. I am in solidarity with him in this opinion, since I was convinced of his authenticity in practice.

Thanks to chess, my character was formed. Mental and physical abilities are greatly increased, which sounds impressive. Chess makes it easier for me to get to know people and make new friends. This is a great game to have fun with.

You can meet amazing people not only at classes. This can be done at city and regional tournaments for youth and adults. Often, such an acquaintance later develops into excellent friendly relations, and sometimes into a strong friendship. By the way, this is how we met our best friend.

Imagination and logical thinking were also developed with the help of chess. In my head, I calculate several moves ahead, try to guess the opponent's actions, find out which of the players has a better position, look for cunning moves, and much more. It is worth noting that thanks to chess, it is easier to cope with geometry, namely, with the section of stereometry. There you also have to present complex geometric shapes and look for non-standard solutions.
