One of the most well-known things about Turku is its location on the Aura River, which winds its way through the city and provides a picturesque setting for many of the city's landmarks. Visitors can take a boat tour of the river to get a unique perspective of the city, or simply stroll along the riverbanks and enjoy the view.

Turku is also home to a wealth of historical and cultural sites, including the Turku Castle, which dates back to the 13th century, and the Turku Cathedral, which is the oldest cathedral in Finland. Living in Turku is a wonderful experience. The city is small enough to feel friendly and intimate, yet offers all the amenities and opportunities of a larger city. The people of Turku are warm and welcoming, and the city has a strong sense of community.

One of the most popular tourist attractions near Turku is Moomin Land, a theme park based on the beloved Moomin characters created by Tove Jansson.
