I will be playing games such as:
~Animal, person, place and thing
~Red light, green light, 123
~Hand shape Game
~Word Recall
~Taboo
~What did you do last summer?
These are all games that I adjusted to reveal aspects of culture as we play. Also, these games were some I've adapted or modified from traditional games played in my own culture at school or at home. Some games I've even constructed myself.
I will be speaking in English and signing in ASL at the same time for the entire seminar. You will be able to find out about my culture and tell me about yours, while also hearing English and seeing ASL!
