Word Problem Involving Surface Area of Sphere

We can calculate the number of wedges a grapefruit was cut into given that the total surface area of the wedges is three times the surface area of the grapefruit. In this case, knowing the radius or diameter of the grapefruit is not necessary. Source: HAESE MATHEMATICS 9 MYP 4, 3rd Edition
