Let's watch a movie together!

Maynk

The movie of the holiday month is:

Deadpool & Wolverine

Let's ____Go!-------------------------------->

This one needs no introduction! Let's gear up for the third installment of the best Marvel character franchise.

In this lesson, we are going to watch an entire movie together!
Too much? Well...

We'll have an intermission, chat, compare notes, etc. Try taking the lesson for any film you want, but let me know beforehand so can make arrangements (you know, popcorn, drinks, etc).

Learning from blockbusters is the most satisfying way of improving spoken English.

You can ask about anything you feel is too hard to comprehend (even in between) as much as you want. The estimated movie time is 110 minutes. The lesson can also be divided into two 60-minute sessions, but I don't think anyone would wait much longer after the first act of thisa perfect choice for the next Cafetalk Day.

The aim of this (mission) session is to highlight real dialogues in many possible scenarios, which are often alike in daily life. No matter how over the top it gets, I'll make sure you know the origin of all the language in the movie. (And trust me, you need an expert to pin down the jokes in this one.)

⚠ This is an R-rated movie!

The screening has a loose three-part structure where we will have in-depth discussions after each act. Don't worry there is extra time. We may also finish the movie in two parts and save the last part for a spicy discussion. We are free to do anything! Let me know your preferences and I'll plan accordingly.

Plus, I'll provide a written report on the top ten learning points from the script and how to add that to your own English speaking.

Don't think twice if you love Deadpool. If you are someone who feels frustrated reading subtitles in your favorite English movies, book this screening now. Time to step up your game!

Caution: This one is not for the weak-hearted. Book a trial for Act I, or simply talk about the things you love! Want to watch Deadpool 1? No problem!

(The movie is out on demand and Disney+. No password sharing!)
