What does hypothetically mean?

Zia

Hi everyone! Today's new word is "hypothetically".

hypothetically
/ˌhʌɪpəˈθɛtɪkli/

This means being based on a suggested idea or theory.

I, unfortunately, don't have any pets because we live in a small apartment but
hypothetically, If my pet cat could speak, it would say "feed me more, I'm starving!" :-)
What would your pet say if it could talk?

By the way, I'm back from a hiatus (a long break) from Cafetalk and ready to start teaching again. Let's have a chat soon!
