Do you drive? Do you like winter driving? Do you have snow where you live? There is plenty of snow in winter where I live in Ontario, Canada, especially this winter. Here are five things I like to have with me to make winter driving safer and less stressful:
1. Scraper and brush to clean off the car, especially the windows and mirrors
2. Winter tires for better traction on snowy roads, and in driveways and parking lots
3. Full water bottle and snacks in case of delays and/or accidents which are much more common in wintery weather
4. Charged cell phone to get help in case of delays, accidents, or other emergencies
5. Plenty of time to clean the snow and ice from my car and extra time to reach a destination when driving may be slower or otherwise delayed
If you drive, what do you take with you to be prepared and safe in winter? What is your favourite way to travel in winter? Would you prefer to stay home and have a nice chat? Take a lesson with me and we can talk about seasons, transportation, weather, or whatever appeals to you.
