Truthful Information about learning English

Dean William

There are many who claim that they are trying to learn English, but when it comes to actually learning English, many will shy away from practicing their English in a conversational way.

1. If you are truly serious about improving your English in a conversational way, you must make a commitment to yourself to practice speaking in English everyday for at least 2-3 hours at a time without using your own native language as much as possible.

2. If you are truly serious about improving your English, you must make it your goal to surround yourself around English as much as you can without using your own native language.

3. And… If you are truly serious about improving your English, you must make a decision to put your focus on learning English, to put your focus on reading out loud in English, and to put your focus on speaking with someone who will help you to improve your English in a conversational way, who will correct you when you make a pronunciational mistake, and who will give you the correct answers to that questions that you have about learning English.

(If you aren’t willing to push yourself to do these 3 things, it will take you a very long time before you will become good at speaking in English in a conversational way.)

(English is just like every other language in this world, you can’t learn it over night, but if you put in the necessary time, energy, and effort that is needed for you to learn it, you will most likely learn it faster than those who’s not willing to do that.)

There are many who claim to be a good English Teacher, but when it comes to explaining things correctly in English, many will make up a whole lot of things to make themselves to look smart, when in actuality, they really don’t know how to give a correct answer to a question that’s being asked.

(If a person gives you these kinds of answers, it actually means that they have no idea about what the true answer is.)

1. That’s how we speak when we are speaking in English, so you shouldn’t worry too much about it.

2. These two words means the same thing.

(This is not true at all! Every word in English has a slightly different meaning. Some may sound similar, but inactually it has a slight difference in menaing.)

3. It’s o.k. to speak with words that sounds the same, just as long as you can be understood.

(This is actually very wrong. Even though you can be understood, you should speak with the correct words in the correct way. If you use English words in an incorrect way, it can make you to sound like you aren’t very educated at all.)

(This is the same when it comes to using very difficult and or complicated words in a conversational way. If you don’t know how to properly use a difficult and or complicated word correctly in a conversational way, you will be easily misunderstood by whoever it is that’s talking with you.)

There are many who will say that they went to school to learn how to teach English, that they have a lot of teaching experience, and that they have what it takes to be a good English teacher, but in reality, many of those who say that, aren’t as good as like how they are trying to make you to believe.

A truly good English teacher is…

1. One who listens to their students concerns and frustrations about learning English.

2. One how pays close attention to their students ability to retain whatever it is that is being taught to them.

3. One who pays close attention to how they are teaching their students to make sure that they are able to understand what is being taught to them.

4One who is humble, open-minded, patient, kind, honest, informative, and not boring when they are teaching.

5. One who’s always looking for a better way to teach to get their students to learn faster and to retain what is being taught to them without being boring at all in any type of way.

(Learning English form someone who’s not doing these 5 things can cause a person to become very frustrated with learning English, and or to become uninterested with continuing their desire to become a better English conversational speaker.)

For those whose truly serious about improving their English in a conversational way with the correct pronunciations, here’s a quote that can be very beneficial to those who’s able to understand it.

Serious learners creates serious out-comers…

Serious out-comers creates serious producers…

Serious producers creates serious successors…

(If you truly want to become better than everyone else, do your best to be a serious learner so you can become a serious out-comer, a serious producer, and a serious successor.)
