Weekly Topic: Introducing “great questions” from students!

Hello everyone,

Here are some great questions from former and current students.

1. Observations about my physical attributes (vaguely insulting)
- Tim, why do you have such a big nose?
- Do all Australians have such bad skin? 
- Gosh, what's that smell? Is that you, Tim? 

2. Personal questions about my sexuality / relationships
- Are you gay? ... No? ... well you look gay.
- Is your wife happy? You sure?

3. Other personal questions
- Where do you live? ... No .. I mean what's your address?
- What's your phone number?
- What visa do you hold? Why? When does it expire? 

4. Questions about English
- Ok, so you have explained the etymology of the word. I understand. But why? 
- Right, so Tim, I don't want you to look up the answer to this question. I want you to rely on your native intuition. What is the difference between "ubiquitous" and "pervasive"? 

Can you be the next student to ask me a curly question?
