About the Instructor

I'm Stephanie, a passionate English teacher and culinary enthusiast. With over 20 years of experience as a singer-songwriter and vocal coach, I discovered my love for cooking about seven years ago when I became a part-time housewife. Since then, I've been perfecting my family's recipes and sharing them with friends, family, and students in Japan. I believe in making learning fun and engaging, often blending language instruction with culinary exploration.

Seminar Structure

  1. Introduction (5–10 mins): We'll review the list of ingredients and utensils, discuss cooking styles, and learn how to adjust the recipe for larger servings.

  2. Preparation & Demonstration (30–40 mins): I'll guide you through the preparation process step by step, demonstrating techniques and tips along the way.

  3. Cooking Stage (5–10 mins): We'll prepare for cooking using your preferred method—Dutch oven, casserole dish on the stove, or slow cooker.

  4. Q&A (5–10 mins): Open floor for any questions you may have throughout the session.

  5. About My Cafetalk Classes (5 mins): A brief introduction to my other classes and what I offer.

I hope many of you will come and practise English while cooking together !

    Kindly,

    Stephanie
