Mother's Day Celebration

Roxy Sentero

Happy Mother's Day to me and all the amazing mamas in the world!

Mother’s Day has always been special to me. This year, I bought a cake for myself, my husband gave me flowers, and we had dinner at a restaurant to celebrate. It was simple but meaningful.

In the United States, Mother’s Day is celebrated on the second Sunday of May. Many people give flowers, cards, or small gifts. Families often eat together at home or in a restaurant.

It's quite similar in the Philippines. Mother’s Day is also celebrated on the second Sunday of May and children usually give gifts or treat their mothers to a nice meal. It is a day to say thank you and show love.

How about in your country? Do you celebrate Mother’s Day? What do you usually do?
