5 Awesome Adjectives

Brian R.

Like most people I love adjectives. They spark the imagination and allow us to understand something in greater detail. In English there are so many adjectives that we never use that have the power to describe something with just one word. Here are 5:

Verdant: Green or unripe (fruit).Ex: " The banana is verdant."

Zealous: Eager or devoted. Ex: " He is very zealous about christianity."

Comely: Attractive. Ex: " She is very comely."

Effulgent: Briliantly radiant, bright. Ex: " The effulgent sun was shining."

Risible: Laughable or funny. Ex: " Comedy is risible entertainment."

I hope you enjoyed these words like I did. If you have any questions about pronunciation please comment! Thank you and hope to see you soon.
