WEARING A "KIMONO"

Nona Bungay

It's not often that we have the opportunity to wear a "Kimono" especially for a Filipino like me, but I was indeed lucky to have the chance to wear a "Kimono" and get a feel of the Japanese culture.  Kimono represents the image of Japan and its wonderful people. Visiting Japan is one of the top three countries in my bucket list.  I want to see the beautiful ancient Buddhist temples and Shinto shrines in Kyoto.  I personally would like to see the fascinating Mt. Fuji and other perfect landscapes.  It's amazing to go to the hot springs with different colors of water.  Bathing at Onsen is a great way to relax and relieve back pains.  I want to experience riding in the Shinkansen! I want to watch anime movies and see real robots, too! It must be fun!

I want to take my friends in spring season, attend Hanami parties and have picnics under the cherry blossom trees.  How I wish I could see the trees change their colors in autumn. I couldn't wait to eat the authentic and best tasting Sushi, Sashimi, Donburi, Ramen, Udon, Tempura with matching Japanese sake or beer!

I hope someday I can visit Japan and meet my students, too.  Japanese people are so disciplined, friendly and polite.  No wonder Japan is one of the safest countries in the world!

Let's talk about your culture and traditions or your travel plans this summer.  I'm offering 50% DISCOUNT on all my lessons.  I would love to hear you talk!
