Today I have decided to make a short list of different words we use to describe the same thing in our respective countries.

1. 

British English - The 'BONNET' of a car

American English - The 'HOOD' of a car

2. 

British English - 'TRAINERS'

American English - 'SNEAKERS'

3. 

British English - 'COURGETTE'

American English - 'ZUCCHINI'
