サビの最初の2行は「I'm covering my ears like a kid / When your words mean nothing, I go la la la」(私は子供のように両耳をふさいでる/あなたの言葉が意味をなさないとき、私は「ラ~ラ~ラ~」って歌う)。

Are you stressed out? I guess the answer is a resounding yes. (If your answer is no, please just play along for this blog post's sake anyway, though it could be stressful for you.) I think we're faced with all sorts of stress on a daily basis, related to work, family, relationships, and what have you. The bad news is, we can't get away from them all. The good news is, we can do something about it. The first thing you should do is to identify the sources of your stress. If the source is something you can eliminate, just eliminate it completely. That way you can reduce the number of your stressors. If the source is not something you can just get rid of, you can at least try some stress-relieving techniques to better deal with that stress. Stress could cause all sorts of illnesses, so I can't stress enough the importance of stress management!

So, what are good stress-busters, you ask? I've heard someone say that the word "stressed" spelled backward is "desserts" so eating desserts will melt your stress away. How sweet! But I don't buy that! I mean, I "buy" desserts all the time, but I don't believe in that belief. Eating sweets gives me guilty feelings and that just adds to my stress. Then, what helps, you ask? This is where today's song comes in.

The song I picked for this topic is La La La by British DJ Naughty Boy featuring British singer Sam Smith. This song was released in the UK about a year ago, and after big successes there and in other parts of the world, it finally made it to the US earlier this year.

This song provides us with a great stress-fighting tip, and comes with a video to demonstrate it. Here are the first two lines from the chorus: "I'm covering my ears like a kid / When your words mean nothing, I go la la la" I'm sure this method will work best when you want to shut out annoying people.

Anyway, this is a British song named "La La La" and there was also an American song named "La La La" by LMFAO a few years ago. To jog your memory, here's the video link:

Here's a survey question: Which is less stressful for you, the UK song or the US song? Please answer with "Yes" or "No" in the comment section below.

Anyway, I'm sorry if my lengthy, annoying blog post stresses you out every time. Fortunately, you can now read my blog stress-free by covering your ears and going "la la la." Isn't that awesome? You can start it right away!

OK, that's all for today. Thank you for reading! Whether you're a first-time visitor today or a loyal, hardcore, diehard fan of my blog, I hope you'll come back again. And here's a shout-out to the three people who "Liked" my last post: Thanks! By the way, 30% discount coupons good for any of my lessons are available now. They will expire soon. Too bad none of you can hear any of this right now.
