5-minute morning YOGA routine - TO WAKE UP

Jan 7, 2018 | 1 Comments

Hello there!
I wanted to share with you a simple 5-minute morning routine for more health.

It's simple, it only takes 5 minutes and it's a great substitute for coffee. There is even no need to wake up earlier because after this you will be completely awake and focused, quicker at getting ready (for work, school, or just to start your day).

1) HALF-MOON POSE

You should make sure that your elbows and knees are straight and your chest is up.

2) DOWNWARD-FACING DOG

In downward facing dog make sure that both your arms and legs are straight, back flat, head down, ears by your shoulders and try to make those heels touch the floor.

3) UPWARD-FACING DOG

From downward dog you can float up right to that upward dog pose. Elbows are straight and you should push the shoulders down, away from your ears. Chest is up. You may look straight in front of you, or even up towards the ceiling.

4) CAT & COW

You should stay here for at least 5 deep long breaths. As you bring your head up and arch your back you inhale. As you lower the head and round the back you exhale.

5) (my favorite pose) CHILD'S POSE

From cat and cow pose you simply shift your weight back, sit down on your heels, lie down and bring your straight arms up in front of you.

Enjoy & be healthy!
