こんにちは！英語・日本語講師のKeiko Davyです。クリスマス、お正月、それに旅行があったりして、しばらく我が家の食卓レポートをしておりませんでした。久しぶりの更新です。

Hello Cafetalk Community! I am Keiko Davy, an English/Japanese tutor. I haven't done my dinner reports for a while since we had Christmas and New Year, and I was traveling. This is the post for the first time in a while. 

ペナンに来て以来、パン作りに目覚めております。作り始めると、止まらないです（笑）。ですが、主人と二人だけなので、なるべく週に1回ぐらいに控えるようにしています。

I discovered the joy of baking since I came to Penang. It is so much fun that I can not stop lol! However, it is just between my husband and I, we can't consume that much bread, so I try to limit myself from baking no more than once a week. 

写真上 Top photo = フランスパン。自家酵母で作ります。私の一番のお気に入り。A French Sourdough bread called Pain au Levain, my favourite. 

写真左下 Left bottom photo = やはりフランスパンなのですが、オリーブとベーコンを入れてみました！ This is also French bread but has olives and bacon in it. 

写真右下 Right bottom photo = コーニッシュ・パスティースと呼ばれるイギリスのパイです。主人は大喜び。Cornish pasties. My British husband is happy. 

肝心のご飯の方はこちら。 The real dinner plates are below. 

写真左上 The left top photo = サーモンをアジア風にグリルしたもの。チリやニンニク、ショウガ、赤玉ねぎ、ライムの絞り汁、醤油でソースを作ります。Grilled salmon Asian Style. The sauce has chili, garlic, ginger, red onion, lime juice and soy sauce. 

写真右上 The right top photo = スモーク・ハドックという魚のパイ。これもとてもイギリス風です。Fish pie with smoked haddock. This is also a British dish. 

写真中左 The left middle photo = ローストペパー（カラーピーマン）のマリネ。これは、サラダやピザのトッピングに使えます。Roasted capcicums marinated in olive oil and red wine vinegar. You can use it for salad or pizza topping. 

写真中右 The middle right = タイのフィッシュケーキ。魚のすり身を油であげたものです。カレー味でピリ辛です。Thai fish cakse, deep fryed fish paste with spicy curry paste. 

写真左下 The bottom left = ナポリソース。パスタやピザソースに使えます。Napoli sauce that can be used for pasta or pizza sauce. 

写真右下 The bottom right = チリコンカーネに似てるんですが、すごい量のハバネロやハラピーニョの入った激辛チリです。This is called Hellfire Chili. Yes it's got harbeniro and jalapinos... very spicy.
