Proofreading is VERY important........

David

I have noticed a lot of very poor English signs here in Japan.

And whilst this is common around the world, many of these signs have said things that are not only incorrect English, but some things are also highly amusing to westerners!

Here are some examples :

And by the way - these are not the worst ones I found!
I found some which are potentially 'too rude' to post on a family website like Cafetalk. But trust me - these signs do exist! I have seen them with my own eyes.....

So to all of the students reading this - if you are not sure that your writing is correct, please, please, PLEASE ask a western friend or teacher to proofread it for you!
I'm sure some of these shop owners would be devastated to realise what they have paid good money to have printed outside their restaurants, as well as other signs and posters around the towns.

I offer a very cheap proofreading and native checking service, so if you are interested, please send me a message or book a lesson.

Have a lovely day everyone and stay cool!
It is so hot today.......
