Lattep is our custom-built application. It is designed for simplicity and ease of use, with no need to set up any extra accounts, unlimited lesson durations, and the ability to save chat interactions directly to the request page.

Using Lattep
Video calls can be made simply and comfortably on any computer, smartphone, or tablet.
Once a lesson using Lattep is confirmed, the following button will appear on the request page.

When it is time for the lesson, click the button, and when the student and tutor are ready, the lesson begins.
Make sure to check that everything looks okay before you start the lesson!
Once a request using Lattep is confirmed and the “Start Lattep” button has been clicked by the tutor or student, a call page will open in a different tab.
You will be prompted to "Allow" the use of the camera and microphone in the browser, and you can check how it will look.

The view will differ depending on the browser you are using (Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Safari, Firefox, etc.).
If you have mistakenly clicked “Do not allow”, please see the settings help pages for each of the various browsers below.

FAQ
Is recording available?
→We do not currently have a recording function.
If you would like to record, we recommend using Zoom. *
Please note that many tutors do not allow video or audio recording. Please be sure to get the permission from the tutor in advance.
If you can use the screen recording function of your device, video recording/audio recording of your smartphone, or an external open source option, etc. as an alternative, please feel free to use it. * Please understand that we will not be able to provide support in case of problems with the use of this service.
Can I blur the background or add a virtual background?
→No, it is not possible. If you want to add a blurred or virtual background, we recommend using Zoom or Google Meet. *
If you are using Mac Sequoia or later, or Windows 11 or later, you may be able to blur the background via the cemera settings on the device itself.

- *Please understand that we cannot provide support in case of problems with the use of the system.
- *Zoom and Google Meet require prior integration on the tutor's end. Some tutors may or may not be able to offer Zoom and Google Meet for their lessons.
- *We will notify you of any additions or changes to the features.
Can I send chats and files?
→Yes, you can. Also, chats and files that are sent are automatically saved on the corresponding request page. (Chat is saved at the end of the call, files are saved at any time).
Is screen sharing available?
→Yes, you can.
If I accidentally close the call screen, can I re-enter?
→Yes, you can enter again by clicking the same button. However, you will not be able to use the link after 3 hours from the scheduled lesson end time.
Is it possible to test the video quality?
→Yes, you can. You can access the call page any time after you have confirmed the request. You can open the page in advance to see how you will appear on the screen.

- Sharing both computer audio and your voice at the same time is not possible. If you must share comupter audio and talk, please alternate between normal screenshare and screenshare with computer audio.
- Sharing does not work on Android or iOS Devices.
Troubleshooting
I set the camera and microphone permissions, but I can't see/hear the other person.
→ Try switching off the call screen and re-entering the page. If you still have problems, try restarting your device.
I can't hear the other person's voice
→ Please write in the chat box on the right side of the call screen and tell the other person. After that, both parties should turn off the screen and try entering again.
The screen is frozen
→Check your Internet connection! If there is no problem with your connection, try changing the browser you are using. (If Google chrome does not work, try Safari, etc.)
