I’m Victoria, an English teacher from Ireland, and I’d love to show you my island!

In this fun, friendly lesson, we’ll explore the things that make Ireland so special, from busy cities to tiny seaside towns. 

What we’ll talk about

  • Places: Dublin’s buzz, Galway’s colour, Cork’s charm, and cosy towns like Kinsale and Dingle. Plus cliffs, castles and the Wild Atlantic Way!

  • Food: Is there more to Irish food than potatoes? (Yes!) We’ll chat about Irish stew, soda bread, and the famous Irish breakfast.

  • Music: From lively folk tunes in village pubs to modern Irish bands, music is everywhere in Ireland. Do you have a favourite song or instrument? Tell me!

  • Literature: Ireland is the land of storytellers, poets and writers like Oscar Wilde, James Joyce and Seamus Heaney. We’ll talk about books, legends and the stories you love too.

  • Language: Did you know Ireland has its own ancient language, Irish (Gaeilge), as well as English? We’ll learn a few Irish words and the fun, colourful way we speak English in Ireland
