This 75-minute session is designed for professionals and students in the biological sciences who are preparing to present their research in English and want that presentation to come across clearly and confidently.
This isn't a general English lesson. We work directly with your actual presentation — or a section of it — so everything we cover applies immediately to what you're about to deliver. That includes the language that helps guide an audience through a talk (opening, transitions, closing) and simplifying dense, journal-style sentences into something that sounds natural when spoken aloud.
You'll get real practice time — presenting a section of your talk out loud, receiving focused feedback on two or three things that matter most, then trying it again with those adjustments applied. We also work on the language for handling questions afterward: buying yourself thinking time, paraphrasing a question back, and responding gracefully when you don't have an immediate answer.
This session is a great fit if you have an upcoming conference talk, poster presentation, or lab meeting presentation, and you want support to make sure your English matches the quality of your research.
