Fluency Boost: Speak English with Confidence Using Real-World News
 
Stay informed and improve your English at the same time. In this lesson, we will use real news reports from CNN, BBC, Al Jazeera, and other major networks to help you build fluency, expand your vocabulary, and speak with confidence about current events.
 
We will do the following:
  • Pre-video discussion – Talk about the topic before watching the news report.
  • Watch or listen to a real news segment (CNN, BBC, Al Jazeera, etc.).
  • Post-video discussion – Share thoughts, answer open-ended questions, and practice expressing opinions.
  • Comprehension check – Multiple-choice questions to test understanding.
  • Speaking practice – Use key phrases and vocabulary in conversation.
