Jazz Chant - What Did You Do on the Weekend?
Practice the rhythm of English with a fun song and improve your speaking skills!
Description
Jazz Chants are poems that focus on the natural stress and intonation patterns in conversational English. This Jazz Chant focuses on what you did on the weekend (or any other day). What did you do? Where did you go? Tell me all of the fun things!
We will go over the Jazz Chant and focus on rhythm, pronunciation, and new vocabulary. Then, we will practice having a short conversation using the prompts in the Jazz Chant.
I will provide feedback during and after the lesson.
This lesson is good for intermediate-level students.
Goal for the lesson: Students will become more comfortable with the flow and rhythm of English.
